Herbal Bath Salts

Easy DIY homemade detox herbal bath salts. These are great after a work out, massage, when you are sick or you just feel like you need to detox a bit.

  • In a bowl mix:
  • 3/4 cups epsom salt - draws toxins, eases pain and muscular tension
  • 1/2 cup dead sea salt - draws toxins, eases pain, good for eczema and psoriasis
  • 1/4 cup Himalayan pink salt (if you happen to have any) - contains over 80 essential and trace minerals
  • 3 to 10 drops of essential oil of your choice - lavender, peppermint, rosemary and eucalyptus work well
  • Mix and add to hot bath water. Use the warmest water you can handle, and soak all the way up to your ears! Stay in until the water begins to cool, or about 10 to 15 minutes. Please ask your health professional if you have concerns about taking a hot bath (pregnancy, medical history of heart disease, low or high blood pressure, diabetes etc)

Homemade Coffee Creamer

Pour one can sweetened condensed milk into a container, fill that empty can with milk and add to container {wash and reuse your old coffee creamer bottle if you have one} add any sweetener and / or flavors you like {I use liquid Stevia in Peppermint flavor}, I sweeten to taste....and I like mine sweet so for this recipe I use about 40 drops of my liquid sweetener.
Close container and shake well!

Nautural Cough Remedy

Have a cough? A child with a cough? Try rubbing 4 to 6 drops of Eucalyptus oil, mixed with 2 to 3 drops of any carrier oil (grapeseed, almond, whatever you have on hand) to the soles of each foot and slip on a pair of comfy socks. This will quiet the cough and allow you to get some sleep. I use this remedy for my family with great results :
